HUBUNGAN PENGETAHUAN DAN SIKAP IBU HAMIL DENGAN KEPATUHAN KONSUMSI TABLET TAMBAH DARAH DI WILAYAH KERJA UPTD PUSKESMAS SEMULAJADI KECAMATAN DATUK BANDAR TIMUR KOTA TANJUNG BALAI TAHUN 2023

Abstract


Latar Belakang: Anemia selama kehamilan masih menjadi permasalahan global di seluruh dunia. Secara global, prevalensi anemia pada ibu hamil tahun 2019 sebesar 35,6%.  Pencegahan anemia pada ibu hamil dapat dilakukan dengan peningkatan kepatuhan konsumsi tablet tambah darah. Adapun faktor yang mempengaruhi kepatuhan dalam knonsumsi tablet Fe yakni sikap dan pengetahuan ibu hamil. Tujuan: untuk menggali hubungan pengetahuan dan sikap ibu hamil dengan kepatuhan konsumsi tablet tambah darah di wilayah kerja UPTD Puskesmas Semula Jadi Kecamatan Datuk Bandar Timur Kota Tanjung Balai Tahun 2023.Metode penelitian: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain deskriptif korelasi dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Analisis data menggunakan metode uji Chi Square  dan spearman rank. Penelitian ini dilakukan di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Semula Jadi berjumlah 43 orang.

Hasil penelitian: Sebagian besar dari responden berpengetahuan kurang sebanyak 22 responden (51,2%), memiliki sikap positif sebanyak 15 responden (65,1%), dan Sebagian besar dari responden tidak patuh konsumsi tablet Fe sebanyak 24 responden (55,8%). Ada hubungan yang signifikan antara pengetahuan ibu dengan kepatuhan konsumsi tablet tambah darah dengan nilai p value < 0,05 (0,012). Ada hubungan yang signifikan antara sikap ibu dengan kepatuhan konsumsi tablet tambah darah dengan nilai p value < 0,05 (0,019).

Kesimpulan: Bidan diharapkan dapat lebih menekankan konseling terkait cara konsumsi tablet tambah darah terutama minuman-minuman yang dapat memblokir penyerapan zat besi, faktor risiko anemia, penyebab anemia dan penanganan anemia selama hamil, dan dapat memilih kata dan bahasa yang lebih sederhana dapat lebih mengoptimalkan media edukasi secara berkesinambungan saat konseling, agar ibu hamil lebih mudah memahami konseling yang diberikan
